Welcome to ZedNexus

Zed Nexus is a tech hub, a network, a platform where individuals passionate about technology and digital skills can come together and interact, share ideas, collaborate and more. Membership with us gives you the chance to do exactly just that and the best part is it's free of charge. 

Aside from all the obvious benefits that come from being a member of a network, we've prepared a number of collaborative projects for our members to engage in. Collaborative projects serve as team building exercises and  a way for our members to gain hands on experience, grow their portfolio and grow their professional network 

There are different levels of membership to which different projects are assigned. For the first level of membership, in addition to all the benefits of being a member of our vibrant network, you're offered a chance to take part in projects under our PITS (Probono IT Services) program. The PITS program serves a twofold purpose. Firstly, it is a means through which our members can learn and  gain experience and build a portfolio working on real projects with real businesses and organizations. Secondly, it is a way through which we give back to the society and help bridge the digital divide in Zambia.

Available to the second level of membership, are projects under our paid crowdsourcing IT services program. In this program we invite our level 2 members to work with us on projects outsourced to us by companies in need of IT services. The income earned from these projects is shared with members with whom we collaborate. In addition to the income earned, participants are credited as having contributed to said projects, thereby building their portfolios. To become a second level member and participate in these projects, one must prove competence in selected areas of IT. This can be done through presenting college or University qualifications or demonstrated ability in the PITS program.
